
This page will feature information, as well as links to the other Layouts that call the Central Railway Museum home.
The first Layout that we will look at is the Dambridge Loop. This is a 4' x 7' layout that was built to showcase modeling skills, track work, and operational possibilities in a small space. We use this layout when our portable is just too big for the available space, as well as during small shows.


I remember when I joined the Club in 2018, one of the first things discussed was creating a G Scale loop inside the Museum near the ceiling going through all the rooms. That was in March of 2018. In the June 2018 newsletter, I reported that the G Scale was in service. Now, the loop has gone through some redesigns, to include a yard and some passing tracks, but the main premise is still there - to show off the biggest commercial scale in a way that suits it best. You do still have to watch out for those little railfans though...
